About this part

SSD Yeti Rear Trailing Arms are a machined aluminum upgrade for your SMT10, Yeti or RR10 rig. These are not only more durable and better looking than the stock plastic arms, they also use an M3 threaded hole in the shock mounts to secure the shock rather than the M3 lock nut that the stock setup uses. This gives the trailing arm a cleaner look, with fewer parts to get hung up on jagged rock edges.

Features:

  • CNC machined aluminum
  • Scale design
  • Anodized Silver
  • Threaded shock mounts
  • Rod ends fit inside housing
  • Durable plastic rod ends with steel ball (SSD00017)
  • Direct fit onto Axial Yeti, RR10 Bomber and SMT10
Specifications:
Length (eye to eye): 141.5mm
Length of aluminum arm: 113.5mm
Internal thread: M3
Weight: 31g

Includes:
  • (2) Assembled aluminum trailing arms
  • (2) M3 x 12mm button head screws

I'm running these on my RR10 bomber, they look and function great. No issues with rod ends so far.

Great and cost effective trailing arms. I purchase these for my axial bomber as the stock plastic trailing arms were beat and needed replacing. I do wish the black version was in stock but still very happy with these.

Fit and finish are perfect on these really happy with them on my son's Axial SMT10

These trailing arms are not durable at all for an smt10- the reason is the plastic ball ends. Snapped right off after hitting a small curb 3 days after running these. Garbage. Now I have to figure out how to get the remaining part out of the end and see if I can salvage them. Wouldn’t recommend for durability on a monster truck.

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally rate these silver rear trailing arms highly for fit, finish and value, with three of four reviews giving five stars. Owners report using them on a Traxxas-style RR10 bomber and Axial SMT10 and Bomber platforms, replacing worn stock plastic arms. One reviewer reports the plastic ball ends snapped after striking a small curb within days, calling them unsuitable for durability on a monster truck. No other reviewers mention rod end problems. One reviewer wished a black version were in stock. Sample size is small and only one review raises a durability concern.

  • + Good fit and finish
  • + Cost effective replacement for stock arms
  • + Looks and functions well
  • − Plastic ball ends may break under impact
  • − Black variant reportedly out of stock
