I bought it for Axial Yeti Trophy Truck. Visible wear pins After 6 hours of riding. Not to buy! It is better to use original parts from the manufacturer of the model. I have Axial Yeti SCORE Trophy Truc with 2s lipo, Spur: Axial Racing Steel 32P Spur Gear (56) (AXI31163) Pinion: Pinion Gear - 20T 5mm Shaft 32P (TRA5646)

I have ran this driveshaft for 20+ hours, It has handled the torque from the Tekin ROC 412. I would recommend this driveshaft.

I really like the SSD Brand gear every time I install a piece. It fits, fits right, fits as it should. and is always spec'ed for the part it is.

lasted about 5 packs on 3s, u-joins fell apart. Can't hold the power, just go for the MIP rear driveshaft.

Looks great! Worked well up until it hit a jump, landed and snaped the yoke part, plus both trailing arm plastic eyelets near the rear axle. I will rack it up to my actions. The overall design and installation were very good. I like the size of the pins that hold it on the spindles to axle and driveshaft. I put my mips driveshaft back on and running again. I'd buy it again when the mips driveshaft breaks again. Up until that breaking point has worked very well!

What reviewers say

Reviewers report mixed durability for this steel driveshaft on Axial Yeti and RR10-style trucks. One owner on a Yeti Trophy Truck reported visible wear pins after six hours, and another reported failed U-joints after about five packs on 3S power, recommending a different driveshaft instead. A 4/5 reviewer praised the design, fit and pin sizing but had the yoke snap after a jump, and another reported the part handled over 20 hours of running. Reviewers agree that fitment and installation are good, but durability under high power or hard landings is inconsistently reported.

  • + Good fit and installation
  • + Handled high torque over 20+ hours
  • + Well-designed pins for spindles and axle
  • − Visible wear pins after several hours
  • − U-joints failed under 3S power
  • − Yoke snapped after a hard landing
