Big Fun! All the bells and whistles will bolt right on this massive machine. Easy to assemble with everything in the box. Grab a screwdriver and a beverage, enjoy the build!
Got it fast, packed well. Not much else to say but top quality Tamiya kit.
Do NOT buy these trucks until Tamiya can reliably stock replacement parts. Bevel gears are unobtainable, and have been so for months. This wouldn't be a problem if they weren't made of the most garbage metal known to man. Tamiya 5455065 is an "updated" part that ships with the heavy haul trucks. Problem is, I bought the final three units Tamiya had months ago. Still no stock. These kits are awesome, but they're tarnished by a company who doesn't seem to give a damn. EDIT: Tamiya is getting serious, and parts are becoming plentiful again! Keep it up, Tamiya!
Love Tamiya kits. This one is a real treat to build. Very realistic and detailed. I would suggest a 50 turn motor as it slows it down keeping it manageable. It would also help to get Tamiya's tool kit as their screwdriver fits the screws perfectly with no stripping. Other than that it was a blast to build.
