Haven't built this kit yet, just received it recently. But this is just one of many kits that I've done over the years. I have the MB01 mini cooper and love it! So based off that kit I purchased this one knowing that for sure it's top quality. All my cars going back to the M02 are ready wheel drive so using a front wheel drive car is a great new challenge. Tamiya is great for detailed bodies, the build is easy to follow, and of course you build yours the way you like. Just remember if your new to this to take the time to read the instructions and follow it as instructions tell you. And tools are easy but the biggest issue in this county is the screw driver. You need to use a JIS DRIVER. Easy to get and a must have. That's it really. Lots of options on how to build it and you can really push the limits on speed and handling based on your skill level. Great product and you can get years of use out of any kit you choose. I still have and run a M02 that I got from 1998. Plus Amain is a great source for parts and kits, you can't go wrong with this one!

I am very happy with this purchase. I wanted to purchase this model back in 1994 but I did not have the funds to purchase this. Now I am enjoying this model plus I have better modeling skills to get all the details perfect for my collection. It's not the fastest but the real scale look and detail this give for admiring hobbyist. Thank you Amain Hobbies
