The highly detailed and officially licensed polycarbonate body faithfully recreates the distinctive low-profile aerodynamic shape of the Nissan R91CP race car. Separate molded components such as the wing and front light cases add realism, while scale accessories including side mirrors, wing stays, an induction pod, and windshield wiper enhance the authentic appearance. A detailed cockpit and driver figure complete the race-inspired presentation.
Responsive Direct-Drive Chassis Design
Built around a rigid ABS tub chassis with front and rear space frames, this platform is engineered for precise on-road performance. The composite construction combines durability with responsiveness, allowing the suspension to work efficiently for smooth and controlled handling. Independent front suspension and a rear three-point suspension system provide balanced performance during acceleration, cornering, and braking.
High-Traction Performance Setup
High-grip sponge tires and lightweight wheels work together to maximize traction on smooth driving surfaces. The rear suspension incorporates a 1.5mm FRP T-bar and a CVA oil damper to enhance stability and cornering consistency. Adjustable ride height settings at both the front and rear allow drivers to fine-tune chassis setup for different track conditions and driving preferences.

Thank you, Amain Hobbies, A dream come true. After 32 years I finally have my Tamiya Nissan R91CP Group-C 1/10 On-Road Touring Car Kit. Back then I didn't have the money to purchase this car kit. I am so happy. This car has exceeded my expectations on the scale details and performance. You can find some hop up parts for this kit using some of the Tamiya F103 & F104 parts. This review is why I enjoy this hobby.
Unbelievable!! Arrived on a Saturday morning like 2 days after purchase, was in stock and shipped immediately! Love the RC car and glad it got re released. Wish I could give 6 starts! Just bought a semi truck too!
amazing chassis even though it came out in the 1990's, its no wonder its such a iconic kit today and sells out everywhere. very precise steering input ( I adjusted my end point to 60% so it wont spin out)and used the included sport tuned motor that feels quick. If you are doing "box art" take your time to get it right. I highly recommend it.
Awesome kit by Tamia, love all their products. I’m a big fan, still have my original Sand Scorcher I bought in the 80’s. This one brings back those memories of being a young adult and working for a dealership.
