Painted lots of things over the years with many kinds of paints never seen a more watery can of spray paint in the world ,used tamiyas in the past no problem but this can was so watery all it did was run and not dry after 8 hours i don't know if this was a bad batch or what used there translucents in the past for smoke and marble effects beautifully. This is the third can of tamiya paint in last 3 months to not be up to there old standard,I wont use another tamiya paint again.Ruined a new proline high flow body.
The other reviewer may have received a defective can, but my experience with PS44 has been good.
Yes it's watery, runs, bled into the Best pin stripping tape?, at least it dried Ok? First and LAST TIME ! I BUY THIS GREEN Translucent PAINT. Backed with Bright Silver PS41 it's Beautiful.
Three reviews with mixed experiences. Two reviewers describe the paint as watery and prone to running; one reports it ran, bled under masking tape, and eventually dried, and another says it was watery and ruined a body, with a note that a previous can had been fine. One reviewer reports a good experience and suggests the complaints may reflect a defective can. One reviewer notes it looks good over bright silver PS-41. Reviewers disagree on whether the issue is a single bad batch or a broader quality problem. Drying time was a concern for one reviewer.
