After almost completing the assembly of my Clod I found the tires don't all fit the rims properly. With some research I have found that the limited black edition is known to ship with faulty tires. This is disappointing because you have to spend another $40 for a pair of stock tires, hoping they don't have the same defect. Update, Well this isn't Amain's fault they worked with me to resolve the problem, and honestly went and above and beyond to make it right. Thanks to the team if they see this review!
Tamiya kits are my favorite! Never disappoint and the clod is a classic have built several. Amain has the best service I've dealt with even when an issue arrives which is seldom they always take care of it!

The Clod Buster is the king of Tamiya RC trucks! Nothing says monster truck like those huge tires. This will be the 4th one I built. The red parts are perfect for a 1987 original recreation. I will paint the body red, OG stickers, strip the chrome off the rims and paint them white. I do wish they came out with an original 1987 anniversary kit, and the original BullHead big-rig kit also. Amain is a great company, like some others from the past. They have coupon codes and free shipping, and ship the stuff out quick. The website always works fast. Easy to find stuff. Who could ask for more.
