Tamiya Suzuki Jimny JB23 1/10 4WD Electric Rally Car Kit. This model faithfully recreates the the legendary Japanese off-roader. The JB23 depicted by this model is one of the 3rd generation Jimnys introduced in 1998 which had a modernized, rounded body design. The Jimny body sits atop Tamiya’s proven shaft-driven 4WD MF-01X chassis, which is at home on a range of surfaces from road to flat dirt.

- The chassis can be assembled into S and L wheelbases using separately sold propeller shafts
- A host of Hop-Up Option parts are available to tune the MF-01X chassis

Like all Tamiya kits it went together quite well. I used shock kit TAM54753 @ $22.40 with the car springs and it worked great. Friction springs are only good for hard surfaces and I have sand and gravel out here. Goes about 10-12MPH and is more stable than I thought it would be. The body in the front where it bends under is quite thin and started to crack when cutting. I used 2 layers of 3/8" wide black auto pen-strip on the outside and heat shrank it to the body. Can't see it and was very strong. A very good looking kit! It's too bad AMain doesn't have picture posts
