The Tamiya Wild One Off-Roader Blockhead Motors 1/10 Buggy Kit Wild One is a long time favorite of builders and collectors. This specific Wild release is special - as the decals have been designed by Jun Watanabe’s brand "BLOCKHEAD MOTORS''. Blockhead Motors has produced stickers, apparel, and customizations of Tamiya off road buggy models from the 1980s. Watanabe has collaborated in the design of fashion, music, and skateboard projects to help further expand the horizon of R/C cars, making this kit a fun addition to any collection.
About The Wild One
Scale Painted Body
The body for this Wild One comes pre-cut and pre-painted in light blue. The included driver sits inside the the roll cage. The decals and exterior light pods add to the overall appearance while staying true to the original Wild One.
ABS Chassis
Tamiya has thoughtfully upgraded the Wild One to ensure it aligns with the expectations of modern users while preserving its beloved characteristics. The durable lightweight ABS frame, demonstrates a seamless fusion of vintage aesthetics with modern functionality. Enhanced performance and durability are achieved through a 4-wheel independent suspension equipped with aluminum oil dampers, aluminum trailing arms, and a wide tread for superior off-road stability. Included Electronics
This chassis Kit includes both a torque tuned brushed motor and Hobbywing 1060 ESC. These components combine to deliver a performance enhanced on-road racing experience. The compact ESC boasts extreme performance, complemented by a built-in capacitor module for efficient power delivery. With exceptional current endurance capability, easily configurable parameters using ESC jumpers, and automatic throttle range calibration for user-friendly setup, the Quicrun 1060 stands out. Connector Information
When upgrading to a high current LiPo battery, it is recommended to also upgrade your battery connector. We recommend using an XT60 or T-Style connector for this application. Please check out the video below to learn how to solder on a T-Style connector.

Eye Turner and a half. This is my favorite kit of 2021. Perfectly captures the spirit of the original with an amazing twist and upgraded parts. The included motor is not great so I chose the Tamiya GT which looks great with it.
Love the looks of this kit . It was super easy to build. I've been wanting this for quite sometime. The only thing I found a little disappointing it the steering linkage very subpar,but is a rerelease of a 1980's kit. Looks great and this is going to be a shelf queen .
Great Car to build had alot of metal parts and aluminum shocks. Real Nice build! Amain got it to me quick as always! I started buying from them because they are soley in the RC Racing industry and i retired from it. I raced RC Cars for 15 years at Golfland USA in owensboro Kentucky, they closed down and i thought retirement was the best option for me. I do miss racing but i soley wanna focus on bashers now.
The Tamiya Wild One was always going to be a great purchase but wanted to take the time to say thanks to the A Main team for a AAA+ experience in every aspect.
