Giving this one star because the description says its compatible with a b6.1 and it's not. The horn is too long and hits the buggy's top plate. I'd suggest changing the description. I purchased the Exotek top horn for the same buggy and servo (25 spline) and it's a direct fit. It's such a perfect fit that I don't need to use trims to get the car to track straight So, this servo horn doesn't fit in the b6.1 as described. Not sure about the other vehicles.
Works great on my B6.2 with a Savox 1258 and ProTek 160T servos. Too short for a B74.1, which needs a 20mm version (ASC1368) to clear the front driveshaft.
I run this on my Sc6.1 and with proper servo mount spacing it clears the top plate perfectly.
I use this on my B6.1D. It fits and functions perfect. B6.1/B6.1D comes with a revised top plate (ASC91766) that has a notch to avoid interfering the servo horn. *** Those who claim this servo horn does not fit their B6.1 are probably using the B6 top plate, which share the same part number.
I installed this on a ProTek servo on my AE RC10B7D. I broke the plastic one in a practice session and knew it was inevitable. I had this on order anyway - installation was a breeze, fit was flawless, no binding or hitting on anything and the servo arm offset was spot on for the install on my B7D. It not only screws on, clamps as well... Super happy and this is solid!
Reviewers largely agree the 15.5mm aluminum clamping horn works well on several chassis, including B6.1D, B6.2, SC6.1 and AE RC10B7D, with reports of solid fit and clamping that holds the arm securely. Compatibility with the B6.1 and B74.1 is disputed: two reviewers say the horn is too long and hits the top plate or front driveshaft, and one of these notes a 20mm version is needed. A reviewer with a B6.1D reports a clean fit when the revised top plate with a notch is used, and another suggests that the original B6 top plate sharing the same part number may cause the clash. One reviewer needed to trim the horn and use a servo weight to level the servo. Overall, fit depends on chassis, top plate revision and servo mount spacing.
