Awesome truck right out of the box! Drives really well. Fun on 2s but it rips on 3s. Buy one!
Awesome quality little truck. Super fun to use and with the 550 turn motor and a 23T pinion put in it’s actually quite quick.
1 heck of a fun truck. I lowered mine a little and made it a drifter!! Its a blast!
I Race an apex 2...or raced. Every single race a wheel hub snaps or a dogbone pops out. One other racer had the same issues with his apex and switched to a different brand. For this price point you should get some resemblance of durability, and some adjustability, you get NONE. Look elsewhere. This car is not it.
Four reviews of the Team Associated Apex2 Datsun 620 Sport RTR 1/10 electric 4WD touring truck, all describing the Datsun 620 Sport variant. Reviewers broadly praise the truck's fun handling and quality out of the box, with one owner noting it runs quickly with a 550 motor and 23T pinion, and another converting it into a drifter by lowering it. Opinion is split on durability: one racer reports repeated wheel hub breakage and dogbone pop-outs during races, and says the truck lacks adjustability for its price, while the others report no such problems. One reviewer notes it performs well on 2S but tears up on 3S. The sample is small, so the durability concern rests on a single review.
