About the Post Mount
Strong, Durable, and Lightweight
Aluminum parts in RC drift cars are key upgrades that enhance precision, durability, and overall handling performance. Components such as steering knuckles, bell cranks, and servo mounts made from aluminum offer increased strength and reduced flex compared to plastic counterparts. This rigidity improves steering accuracy, ensuring smoother and more responsive control, which is crucial for executing precise drift angles and transitions. Additionally, aluminum parts help maintain consistent alignment, reducing slop in the steering system that can develop over time with plastic components. Many drift enthusiasts also prefer aluminum for its weight distribution benefits, as some setups require added front-end weight for better traction and stability.

When upgrading the steering rack it just made sense to upgrade this as well. Looks good and holds up much better to repeated adjustments with out stripping over the plastic.
