Team Associated RC10B7 Idler Gears (3)

Sadly these are just ever so slightly wider than they should be. Per Associated's website these are replacing the 1 pack B6 idler gear, I thought great cheaper and I don't have to buy two for my 4 gear transmission. Put the bearings into the gears and screwed my transmission case back together and the thing is tight as can be. I spent a couple days going over the thing with a fine tooth comb and came to the conclusion it's the new idlers I put in. Bought some machines aluminum idlers that are thinner by 0.2mm and they do not bind the transmission up. It doesn't appear to the the width of the gear itself, but the width of the flange inside that keeps the bearings apart. Never thought I'd put this much into a review for a simple idler gear.
