This is a cool kit and all and it's great to see companies like Team Associated come out with these vintage cars again. That being said this truck has some good things with it, but definitely some bad things. Things I'm not happy with after spending $420 is the original included slipper is terrible and with need the V2 slipper if it's going to be raced for another $40, the tires are rock hard and not usable on any track so those are for shelf queens only, the turnbuckles are hard to adjust but good quality titanium, the old school rear dogbones with springs are not good if racing so there is another $40 needed spending on the MIP cvd type, and the manual has at least ten errors in it which can really confuse builders of any experience level.
