Advanced Transmission & Power Delivery
The RC10T7 is equipped with an updated 3-gear laydown transmission designed to reduce drag and maximize power transfer to the larger truck tires. Its durable split case design ensures secure gear mesh, while the integrated 10mm aluminum idler shaft and 54-tooth idler gear with oversized bearings provide added strength and efficiency. This setup delivers smoother power delivery, reduced lag, and lower operating temperatures—ideal for both modified and spec racing classes.
Precise Suspension Control
Engineered for superior handling, the RC10T7 features a truck-specific gull wing long arm suspension that greatly improves grip and predictability across all track conditions. The shorter 25mm front and 31mm rear 13mm big bore shocks lower the truck’s center of gravity for sharper cornering and enhanced stability. TiN-coated gold shock shafts add durability while ensuring consistent shock performance over demanding race conditions.
Innovative Front-End Design
Durability is at the forefront with the RC10T7’s reinforced front end. It includes an aluminum front bulkhead, steel hinge pin brace, updated B7 V2 caster block, and zero KPI steering blocks with adjustable trail. These enhancements not only increase stiffness and strength but also provide racers with fine-tuned steering feel and precise control. The vertical front outer ball stud further expands tuning possibilities by allowing adjustments to roll center, camber gain, and link length.
Championship-Chassis Platform
Built on a strengthened truck version of the RC10B7 buggy chassis, the RC10T7 uses a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum platform with optimized geometry. Its design increases the departure angle, incorporates optional weight plate pockets, and includes anti-roll bars front and rear for stability. I was a little skeptical about this kit since it had just been released and sometimes new releases have some fitment issues. But I decided to purchase it and deal with any issues later. I was very happy when everything went together smoothly. Everything fit together perfectly and the kit looks great. I decided to run R1wurks ESC and motor with Sanwa radio system and it is silky smooth. I’m still getting everything tuned and adjusted for my track conditions. I’ve read other negative reviews on other websites, but I cannot speak for those. In my experience everything matched up perfectly. Great kit.
4 stars only because it doesn't come with a body, or a carpet version. To run on Carpet you need a body, gear diff and wheels and tires plus the normal electronics. After adding those things the truck is great. Upgraded from a T6.2 and this truck is more stable, easier to push on a tight carpet track. The lower shock towers work great and feel like a happy medium so the truck needs less mods to race on carpet. Box setup is good but needs a few changes to run carpet. Great truck, manual is usual AE instructions with tuning options that are not really explained but can be found easy. Raced about 6-7 times and very happy with results.
I just spent 3 hours tearing my hobby room apart trying to find the body i thought i had misplaced. I went to the track to practice with my other cars since I couldn’t finish my truck and mentioned the reason I didn’t bring it was because I lost the body. Another racer says. “It does t come with a body.” For $429 I was shocked. I guess I was sobexcited to open the kit I just assumed I had misplaced it. Other than that, typical AE build. Bad instructions, unclear photos, no descriptions of what settings do what. And wrong and mismatched hardware.

This is a high quality machine and handles well. 3 stars only because they raised the price a good amount and doesn't include a body and wheels. Also I wish they made this in a separate carpet and dirt version so I didn't have to buy even more things to make it carpet ready on top of the other things I mentioned.
