Fun little truck so far! It's like a mini MT10, and drives very similar to the MT10. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the MT10 is known for. A little confused about if this thing takes 3S or not. The ESC says 2S on it, but the RTR box actually says 2S/3S LiPo. I have not attempted to connect a 3S to it. Anyone have a definitive answer on that? BTW, I have recently worked with amain support for the first time and they are great!
Fantastic mini basher, perfectly shrunk down mt10. Respectively durable, fast and fun, pleasantly surprised it handles this well, many minis don’t. Tried stuffing a 3s as the box states, but mine didn’t like it, wouldn’t budge, probably smart safety sensor to keep the vehicle intact. On 2s it’s pretty much perfect and very fun, guessing 3s may just be ludicrous, but I do like stupid fast, and have the need to try just because it handles 2s so well? Definitely not a deal breaker.
Great little basher. Brakes don’t work well when you lower the speed on the transmitter, but at full speed it’s awesome.
Super fast. Bashed it hard ando only poped a tiempo rod. Body was damaged in the rear corners very easily, would recommend reinforce it with shoo goo and drywall tape
Reviewers generally describe the Reflex 14MT as a fun, fast mini basher that drives similarly to the larger MT10 and handles well on 2S power. Several praise its speed and durability under hard bashing, though one reviewer reports a broken tie rod. Reviewers disagree on whether the truck accepts 3S LiPo: the box states 2S/3S, the ESC is labelled 2S, and one owner who tried 3S reported the battery would not seat, which they attributed to a safety feature. Another reviewer noted that braking is weak at low transmitter throttle settings. One reviewer reported that the rear body corners were easily damaged and recommended reinforcing them.
- + Drives similarly to the MT10
- + Fast and fun on 2S
- + Handles well for a mini
- + Good durability when bashed
- − Unclear 3S compatibility (box vs ESC label)
- − Weak braking at low throttle
- − Rear body corners damage easily
- − Tie rod broke in one review
