I was using my Rival MT10 and suddenly it started to make a grinding noise as the Motor Pinion lost the Screw that holds it in place. It chewed up the Spur Gear even completely taking off some of the teeth leaving nothing but plastic shavings inside the cover. I was not sure if it also did damage to any of the Differential Gears but since it has a bit of power going through the gears on a 3S Lipo it makes sense to have some spares ready for when they might need replacing if doing some serious or in some cases crazy bashing with it. I have seen some RC Channels on YouTube jumping then 30+ feet in the air but I am not going to be doing anything like that with mine.
