The only good thing about this car is the hoonicorn body. Very limited upgrade parts and they are overpriced. The aluminum is not even 7075. The tires came loose on 2nd run. Turning radius is soo wide even though I'm using 55kg servo, and the screws holding the caster block came loose easily. Shocks/springs have a lot of play. Rear wheels rub the fender so bad. The chassis layout is good but theres too much space wasted on the right side leaving limited space for esc placement. The receiver box is too shallow. The motor mount only fits 24.5 mounting pitch, cannot run 56xx or 30mm hole pitch. This is a basher! It's supposed to handle abuse. AE should have done a better job since the car was released after infraction/limitless. If you're ken blocks fan it's worth keeping it. If you want a serious bashing machine with room for upgrades and abuse, infraction is a better choice. Also they never answer your question.

This car is TOTAL JUNK. It handles like a clown car. There IS NO WAY to fix it. Don't even THINK about ordering it. There is a reason why this has ZERO news on forums, ZERO setup sheets, and ZERO aftermarket support; IT IS JUNK.

Sure, it needs a little love to get it how you want. But this is a Drift Car not an Infraction or limitless (Same car). Pad the body against the diffuser, install a powerful ESC and motor combo, and take out the negative camber. XLX2+1721 Castle Setup, and a brushless servo. I own the Hobao VTE, and Limitless as well. They all have their purposes and this one is the best drifting car out of all of them. It feels right at home smoking the tires. Don't get me started on the body that nobody else offers.

What reviewers say

Reviewers broadly praise the Hoonicorn body, its looks and its speed and fun with upgraded power systems such as 4S or 6S setups, with several calling it good value. Opinions diverge sharply on handling: some find it a capable drift car after tuning, while others call it junk and say it needs substantial work. Recurring complaints include stock tires with hard compound and poor grip, loose shock and suspension fit with play, a flexible steering rack, limited ESC and motor mount options, and wide turning radius. Several note limited and expensive aluminum upgrades. One reviewer reports peeling livery and wrong-length springs on arrival, and another reports hub axle bolts that are difficult to remove. Experiences appear to vary widely.

  • + Detailed, attractive body
  • + Fast with 6S power
  • + Good value for money
  • + Fun to drift and bash
  • − Stock tires grip poorly
  • − Shock and suspension play
  • − Flexible steering rack
  • − Limited upgrade parts and mounting options
