Used these on my Rival MT10 front and rear. Perfect fit. Only problem I had was that the pin retainer on the joints kept moving and pins popped out. Placed some loctite on the retainer itself and has been running great since.

They can’t handle any more power then stock but if you’re running regular short course tires and a stock VXL power system they are great but I put a 6s system in and they snapped like a twig, I upgraded to the traxxas steel spline shafts and they haven’t even shown any signs or ware

What reviewers say

Three reviews with mixed results. One reviewer found the shafts broke quickly, though the review does not clearly tie the failure to a specific setup. A verified owner on a Rival MT10 reported a good fit and no issues after securing the pin retainer on the joints with threadlocker, which had been causing pins to pop out. Another reviewer said the shafts were adequate on stock power and standard short course tires but snapped under a 6S upgrade, and later switched to Traxxas steel spline shafts with no wear. Reviewers disagree on durability, with the reported failures tied to higher power or unspecified use.

  • + Adequate on stock power and standard short course tires
  • − Pin retainer on joints can move and pins pop out
