Looks nice, stiffens front a bit. I used 1/2 screws instead of 3/8 to get full bite on the diff case threads.

This part went on my SCTE 3.0 when I built it. It really helps hold the front end together and is far stronger than the stock plastic piece. Fit perfect

It's a part you must have. The stock plastic one is not adequate. if you keep extra losi screws around it's helpful.

Does not come with longer screws which are needed to make it fit well with the steering posts. Because Losi uses SAE instead of metric like every other RC car it's harder to find screws that might work.

The original part is fragile so it's a very good update for my Losi

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally rate this aluminum front top brace highly, describing it as stronger and stiffer than the stock plastic part and a useful upgrade for the SCTE. One reviewer reported that the fit was good on an SCTE 3.0 build. A recurring issue is that the kit does not include longer screws, and one reviewer found the fastener size needed to be changed (1/2 inch instead of 3/8 inch) to get full thread engagement in the diff case. The lowest rating cited the missing screws and difficulty sourcing SAE-sized fasteners as causing poor fit with the steering posts. Reviews are few in number.

  • + Stronger and stiffer than stock plastic
  • + Fits well on SCTE 3.0
  • + Looks good
  • − Longer screws not included
  • − Fastener size may need changing for full thread engagement
  • − Hard to source SAE screws that fit
