The pictures are a false representation of the actual product received. Pictures show sensor wire covered with silicone protection sheath around the wire. Dropping to one star since the main reason for picking this sensor wire was to have that silicone protective sheath which is not included. If you want or need the protective sheath, purchase the ProTek PTK-2108 which actually comes with a braided protective sheath around the wire, like in the pictures.
