The Tekin Gen4 Spec-R Sensored Brushless Motor has been engineered for performance. Utilizing the best materials available the SPEC-R has been redesigned to cut weight and reduce resistance, resulting in a purebred Spec racing machine. The GEN4 motor line features a redesigned, precision stamped and pressed stator to increase efficiency and reduce resistance. The stators are hand-wound with high purity copper wire and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The motors can be tuned with optional rotors and are re-buildable, making the GEN4 SPEC-R motor a premium performance power plant designed for the serious racer.

The main thing I do not like is the motor does not come pre-shimmed. The shaft has a lot of slop in it and it comes with a bag of 5 teflon shims. I took the motor apart straight out of the box and threw 4/5 shims right on the end of the shaft but it could have taken all 5. I will take it apart again to set it up correctly but I really wish they installed the shims from factory to get it close to a perfect setup.
I have run a G3 for a while now. I wanted try the G4 it see how much different it would be. The G4 is faster, with more torque. I’m really happy with the motor!
