Good stock replacement part. One of the few pieces I have broken in the whole time I've had a MT410. (and that was 100% user error...)
Quality parts from Tekno, as always. I broke one of the stock front shock rod ends on my Kraton EXB within a couple runs. The EXB comes with HD rod ends but they still broke. So I installed these and have not had an issue since. However, I am not 100% sure if I had my droop set properly before which might be the reason for he failure. At any rate, these have been going strong and my Kraton EXB is over 14 lbs and runs on 8s. I also like how the perch mounts to the rod end with a grub screw.
The rod ends keep breaking from even light bashing, probably will go with nero hd ends next time. I might have got a bad batch but not woth it over stock ones for my arrma talion.
Three verified owners review the Tekno RC Large Radius Locking Shock Rod End & Spring Perch Set. Two rate it 5/5 and one rates it 2/5. The two positive reviewers describe it as a good stock replacement and report durable use on a MT410 and a Kraton EXB over 14 lbs on 8S. One of them notes the perch attaches to the rod end with a grub screw. The negative reviewer reports the rod ends breaking under light bashing on an Arrma Talion, and suggests the issue may be a bad batch. One positive reviewer had a rod end break on a Kraton EXB, which they attributed possibly to droop setup, and then reported no further issues after fitting these. Reviews are few and diverge on durability.
