Ive seen several people with these on the stampede 4x4 with no problems. Also the slash and stampede are identical in the driveline only thing difference between the two trucks is the chassis,bumpers,wheels/tires,rx box, front body mount and body otherwise they are the same. If they didn't fit the stampede must have something set up wrong.
Used to have the mip x-duty and they were horrible. Switched to these because od direct drive and was very impressed. They use the stock outdrive set screws which is very nice. Have used them for over 3 months now and they have stood up the switch from the stock vxl to an insane castle 3800 motor. Very impressed. Just make sure you use some more negative camber or lose some preload to prevent them from popping out of the cups. These are a must have upgrade for the stampede 4x4.
These are such an improvement over stock. Mine wear like "iron" so far. Would never go back to stock. I guess Traxxas would not either since in the 1/16 Slash they run a similar design, dumping the plastic "bind-shafts" on the 1/10 Slash...
been running this for about a month. No problems no sign of wear. Best rear driveshaft on the market right now.
I absolutely love these in my Slash 4x4 running the Viper 5150Kv 4-pole setup on 2S. No pins to break like on the MIP's - I have had no issues with the driveshafts themselves even when flat-landing 10-foot jumps at full throttle. The one issue I have had is that the shafts are so good that now you wheels and hexes are your drivetrain's weakest point. MAKE SURE your wheel nuts are tightened securely or your hex and wheel will end up rounded. I also want to point out that these even come with upgrade bearings for better power handling and new caster blocks to house the bearings - it is a very complete set and I have been happy with it from the get-go. Where are those features MIP? Great job Tekno! I highly recommend these.
Reviewers largely praise these rear M6 driveshafts for durability and for holding up under heavy use on 2S and 3S setups, with several noting they are easier to assemble than MIP shafts and that the captured design helps prevent losing them after a control arm breaks. Some report fit issues: one Stampede 4x4 owner found the shafts about 1/8 inch too short with RPM rear arms and noted they may require Tekno plastic hubs, and another said the shafts popped out of the carrier on jumps. Several owners advise adding negative camber or reducing preload to prevent popping out. One reviewer reports wheel nuts can round hexes if not tightened properly. Reviews are mixed on compatibility with the Stampede 4x4 versus the Slash 4x4, with some reviewers stating they fit both and others reporting problems. Several reviews are off-topic or…
- + Durable under heavy bashing and 3S power

- + Stock-style outdrive set screws
- − Shafts may be too short on some Stampede setups
- − Can pop out of carrier on jumps without adjustment
- − Hex and wheel rounding if nuts loose
- − Fit depends on hub and arm choice
