The MT410 2.0 offers exceptional value through its durability, capable of withstanding punishing bash sessions. High-quality aluminum, steel, and nylon components, some offered as upgrades by other manufacturers, come standard, ensuring longevity and reliability. In addition, with only a few part changes, the MT410 2.0 can convert into an SCT410 2.0, showcasing its versatility.
Differentiating itself from the SCT410 2.0, the MT410 2.0 boasts specific features tailored for monster truck enthusiasts. A shortened wheelbase, an updated center rear dog-bone, and a 24mm shorter chassis contribute to a more compact, stunt-focused design. The inclusion of a wheelie bar to protect the rear bumper and body, new body posts supporting true-to-scale bodies, and an optional tower-to-tower chassis brace further enhance the MT410 2.0’s aesthetics, capabilities and durability. A true 1/10 scale Tekno monster truck. Incredibly durable, incredibly capable.
This was a fun build. This car is 100% more durable than anything off the ARRMA 3 or 4s line. I put a Hobbywing max10 esc in it and with the punch turned all the way up and running on 4s it's pretty good but still slightly underpowered. If I could do it over again I would go with the Max8, and a slightly higher KV motor to really make it rip. I gave it 4 stars because they left out one of the shims in the rear differential and I had to purchase some extras separately to complete the build. Amain was kind enough to reimburse me. Also on my 3rd bash I had a small tumble and the B block front hinge pin broke. It was just some light front yard bashing, nothing crazy. So I was slightly surprised how quickly this RC broke on me considering how the reviews tout how durable it is. Don't get ne wrong It's a great RC that handles like a dream, and absolutely is superior in quality to most of its competitors, but there are some weak points in the stock set up, the hinge pin braces being one of them. I also upgraded the shock caps to metal.
Let me start off by saying that this car was amazing to build. All of the parts fit together perfectly and it is obvious someone who knew what they were doing designed this thing. On my first outing 2 out of 4 shocks started leaking and on the 2nd outing a 3rd one started leaking. I had to purchase the aluminum upgraded shock caps to get it to stop. On my 3rd run the outdrive from the center diff had its dogbone pin slip out making it 2 wheel drive. I understand that things happen but this is more expensive than most ready to run cars in its scale. I will say that it is worth the money but first impressions are big with me, and this one failed. I still gave it 5 stars because I love it. It has some great potential and it is a quality made product. Hope this helps.
The truck is great, but they should include the chassis brace and a steel spur gear. Its a monster truck, not a race buggy. I would also point out that the wheel hexes are super thin. A lot of wheels have the hex too deep and the wheel rubs the hub carrier. They should have just put normal hexes on here, because once again, it's a monster truck.
Built with tekin prohd 2500 running 3s 100c. Only broke a hinge pin brace..have about 30 packs into it
Reviewers generally praise the MT410 2.0's build quality, fit of parts and capability, and several describe it as durable for bashing. Recurring complaints include dogbone and driveshaft pins popping out, with one reviewer reporting a too-large driveshaft that would not fit the hub bearings. Other issues mentioned are shock leaks, a broken front hinge pin, a missing rear differential shim, and thin wheel hexes that rub the hub carrier. Some reviewers feel the kit lacks a chassis brace and steel spur gear and is underpowered on 4S with a Max10 ESC. Ratings range from 3 to 5 stars, and reviewers agree the kit is fun to build but suggest drivetrain fitment and parts quality need attention.
