About this part

Back by popular demand, the front skid plate has returned to the SCT bumper! This change brings increased durability and chassis protection to the front of your truck. For those that would prefer the added ground clearance, the skid can be easily removed. It is fully compatible with all versions of our short course trucks and requires one TKR1522 (M3x8mm cap head screw) and two TKR1346 (M4x15mm Flat Head Screw).

After very many crashes with the sct410.3 I finally broke a part, the front bumper hoop. Didn't NEED a new one, I ran it for numerous races since with it still broken and it still does the job just fine, but since this rig is now discontinued, I figure I better get the part before they're no longer available.

Nice upgrade from TEKNO! I use this on my SCT410.3 and ET48.3. the revised skid version provides more support than the previous version by adding the two mounting holes below the chassis. Grab one of these and save your self from bad crash damage
