Yes they solder slightly easier but the main positive in my mind is the larger size for easier removal
These are really nice bullet connectors. I will purchase more for sure , Nice snug fit for my 4s batteries and they are easy to remove, if you intend to solder the wire inside the hole I would say the maximum wire gauge would be 12 , above that I think you will loose some strands on your silicone wire. I will surely buy more and test them also in 1/10 , so far these plugs have been tested for 1/8 and they are awesome.
Great quality, the 'hats' sit relatively high, so make sure you've got enough room, but they're good to use as a 'handle' so you're not tugging on the wire/soldering. Had about 2mm spare between them and the body on my TLR 22 4.0, with the battery in the forward position.
Easy to solder and gives something to grip . Highly recommend
Easy but solid fit. The high quality shines through (literally). My favorite feature though is that these bullets have just a little to grab onto when removing from a battery, which I like because it's easy but it also reduces lifting strain on wires.
All six reviewers rate this 5mm flat-top gold male bullet connector five stars and are verified owners. Reviewers agree it is easy to solder, has a snug but removable fit, and that the raised flat top gives a grip for unplugging without pulling on the wire. One reviewer used it with 4S batteries and 1/8 scale, and another noted the connectors sit relatively high, so enough clearance is needed in the chassis. One reviewer suggested a maximum wire gauge of about 12 for soldering, as larger silicone wire may lose strands inside the hole. Reviews are consistent and none report problems.
