Traxxas 330 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Digital Servo (Blue) (High Voltage)
About this part
The Traxxas 330 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Digital Servo combines maximum steering authority with a long list of high-performance features. The servo utilizes full metal gears, dual ball bearings, and an aluminum center section for added heat dissipation. A powerful coreless motor provides 330 ounce-inches of torque for the most demanding applications.* The High-Torque 330 servo is fully waterproof, not just “water resistant” and drops into most 1/10 Traxxas vehicles for that perfect factory fit.
The Power to Perform
With over 2.5 times more torque than the standard #2075 servo, the High-Torque 330 provides noticeably faster turning speed and works great with TSM™ equipped vehicles. Traxxas High-Torque servos are the perfect upgrade for high-demand applications like Unlimited Desert Racer, Slash, Stampede, or almost any 1/10 Traxxas vehicle requiring extreme performance. Replace the E-Revo's dual servos with a single #2250 for lighter weight, more torque, and lightning-quick steering response. Elevate your steering performance to the next level with the High-Torque Blue 330 servo.
Waterproof Not "Water Resistant"
Traxxas knows the difference between “water resistant” and waterproof. Traxxas High-Torque servos are completely waterproof to give you the freedom to run when you want, where you want. Power through streams and bogs without fear while trucks with “water resistant” servos are stuck on the sidelines.
For TRX-4 Installation
The Traxxas High-Torque 330 Blue servo represents a huge power upgrade for the TRX-4. When installing this servo, it is required that you use the High-Voltage BEC kit (TRA2262) and a steel servo horn (TRA8247X) is recommended. Installing the BEC is easy with plug and play simplicity. The kit includes a larger receiver box cover to maintain total waterproof integrity and a Y harness for vehicles with LED light kits.

Excellent power and responsive in my tactical trx with moderate brass weight
Fairly slow steering input compared to other servos I've used but after I got used to it I like the stability for my slash
I have 2 of these. They are noisy but very strong.
It sucks, very whiney even after you set the endpoints correctly. Underpowered won't recenter the wheels after you stop steering, regret buying this thing
I got this the day after my trx-4 tactical burned the stock unit on the maiden run and I loved it but it has become very sloppy for the few hours it has been run and I have been very nice to it. But my trx4 is slow so it's more that Traxxas thing that they sometimes do ??? So for crawling only it's minor
Reviewers describe this Traxxas 330 blue waterproof digital servo as strong and responsive for its price, with one reviewer noting it draws few amps and works with non-stock ESCs. Opinions diverge on steering character: some find it slow to respond but stable, while others report it as underpowered, whiney, or noisy, and one says it does not recentre the wheels after steering. One owner reported a stall that was traced to chassis flex rather than the servo. A 3/5 reviewer said it became sloppy after a few hours of running. One reviewer recommends a higher-end alternative for a modest price increase. Reviews are few and mixed.
