Great part, strongly recommend purchase as a replacement part

Works at it should. Better to buy original traxxas gears because they spin without warping and they give an easy to replace and cheap failure point rather than stripping diffs or transmission gears. Just make sure to use fixed gear adapters with these 48p gears

Cheap replacement spur gear. It’s nice to have extras in case you need them since they are plastic. I buy two at a time.

Awesome my motor wasn’t tightened down enough and it shifted and basically the pinion rubbed against it and melted it but its plastic vs metal, maybe i should double check my screws but anyway great product!

What reviewers say

All five reviewers are verified owners of the 86-tooth variant and rate it 5/5. Reviewers describe it as a cheap, good-quality replacement spur gear that works in a Slash 2WD. Several note that the plastic construction makes it a sacrificial failure point that protects more expensive diff or transmission gears, and that buying spares is practical. One reviewer advises using fixed gear adapters with 48P gears. One reviewer reports that a loose motor mount let the pinion melt the gear, attributing the failure to misalignment rather than the part itself. No reviewer reports other defects.

  • + Cheap replacement cost

  • + Works in Slash 2WD
  • + Plastic acts as cheap failure point
