Traxxas 49mm Camber Link Turnbuckle (2) (82mm center to center)

These camber links w/ turnbuckle are engineered to fail OR are the cheapest possible solution to the mechanical need. They claim these are steel but they are extremely brittle and their cross-section looks more like powdered metal / casting than what they should be made of, a drawn steel wire that has a flat spot stamped into it and one threaded end. Traxxas should be ashamed of themselves for selling parts like this. They set everyone up on a "subscription" model where people buy what they believe is a premium product only to have chronic mechanical failures and required parts replacement at big, big $$$$. They of course have the anodized version of these but if you scale the price of those to every part on the model, a Traxxas Rustler 4x4 vxl would cost $3000.
