Shocks Overview:

Take your Traxxas 1/10 ride to the next level with GTR XX Long Shocks — built for smoother damping, tougher terrain, and unbeatable suspension performance.

About the GTR Aluminum XX Long Shocks

Ultimate Suspension Upgrade

Give your 1/10 Traxxas Slash, Stampede, Rustler, Ford Raptor R, Late Model, or Modified the ultimate suspension upgrade with GTR XX Long Shocks. Featuring brilliantly anodized aluminum bodies and PTFE coating, these shocks deliver ultra-smooth damping and superior heat dissipation. The large bore design increases oil capacity for more consistent performance over rough terrain, while the TiN-coated shock shafts resist wear and eliminate stiction for buttery-smooth action.

Tuned for Performance

Ride height and spring preload are easy to adjust thanks to the threaded shock bodies with precision collars. X-ring seals keep oil in and dirt out, ensuring XX Long-lasting smooth operation. Clamping-style lower retainers with locking screws prevent pop-offs mid-run. Pre-assembled with silicone oil and available in multiple anodized finishes, these GTR shocks are a must-have for any serious basher or racer looking to elevate performance and durability.

Features:

  • Hard-anodized aluminum shock bodies

These should be labelled for the rear shocks, Slash 4x4 and Rally (1/10 versions).

Never had an issue with these in 2+ months of use with regular maintenance. Pro-Line PowerStrokes blew out twice in 2 months. I like the feel of these better anyway, and GTR springs are only $5.00/pair. However, you also have the option use Vorza D8 Springs, TLR TEN-SCTE front springs, and I've even used the Pro-Line PowerStroke springs. I also use a pair of these on the rear (duh) and a second pair on the front with a rear shock tower for more droop than able to get with stock length shocks. Overall, these shocks are the best value in terms of durability and ease of use.

These are really nice for the price when compared to buying something similar like Pro-Line. I used these on the rear for my 2WD Traxxas Slash. They are a direct bolt on. The best thing about them is that you can use any 13mm spring, versus being stuck with Pro-Line springs, which are hard to tune for a track. I used Tekno ET410 springs and 30wt oil.

Great Aluminum Shock Upgrade for your slash 4x4 or rustler 4x4 plus they look good too.
