Traxxas LaTrax Alias Ready-To-Fly Micro Electric Quadcopter Drone (Blue)
About this part
This is the LaTrax Alias Ready-To-Fly Micro Electric Quad-Copteris a clean-sheet design that focuses on the performance and design elements that make flying, and even learning to fly, fun. The first mission objective was durability. Alias is built around a unique molded-composite frame that is combined with clever high-tech construction to make it extremely light and virtually indestructible. Your flying fun goes on and on without worrying about breakage from crash damage. The next mission was performance. Fun always comes from having more power so Alias' motors have 50% more power than standard motors, and when combined with the lightweight design and high-tech materials, Alias is lightning quick and ultra-responsive. A completely redesigned flight control system was developed that provides unmatched 6-axis stability that works in the background without impacting performance and speed. It acts like a virtual spring that snaps Alias back to level controlled flight no matter what situation you find yourself in. New pilots can fly faster and perform aerobatic maneuvers sooner than they ever thought possible with Alias' unique flight control system.

So far so good. Got this as a Christmas present and the item shipped quick. Tried it out Christmas morning and everything went well. For anyone buying this product, purchase 4 to 5 extra batteries. Also pickup the quick charger.
Fun to play with only issue to me is the motors burn out to quickly they are NOT brushless so I’ve spent more time and money on parts than I have flying it… and surprised to see the price increase from $99.99 to $129.99 since it’s many years old already, why they haven’t produced a newer version is unknown,, and the Aton which is the big brother of the alias has been discontinued, not really sure why, I really wanted one of those
drone and blades are not the same in photo it is not the same blue but a darker blue
Wow... what a awesome quad-copter the Alias is... fly's so well... such smooth and fluid control in the air... the transmitter is well designed and is comfortable in the hands... a must have for those wanting an affordable drone that delivers... Thanks Amain Hobbies for all the great deals...
Reviewers generally find the Alias smooth and easy to fly, with one reviewer praising its handling and transmitter comfort and another reporting a good holiday-morning experience. Batteries are a recurring concern: one reviewer advises buying several extra and a quick charger. One reviewer reports motors wearing out quickly, which they attribute to the brushed design, and notes a price increase since launch. Another reviewer says the colour shown in photos differs from the delivered blue. Reviews are few and mixed in tone, so the overall picture is limited.
