Got my Alias today, all I can say is Awesome!!! This thing flew perfect right out of the box no trimming, took it outside with up to 12 mph winds and it shook a little here and there but cut right through no problem in Fast mode. I am very impressed with this, got about 11 minutes of flight time and the radio starts beeping then you have 30 seconds to land very nice feature and the blue LED flashes as well. This would be a great first quad to learn on, in beginner mode its so stable and docile. If you ever owned a Syma X5C its the same size but sleeker body and orientation with the green canopy and props makes it soooo much easier to fly even at 100 feet away I could tell perfectly where it was facing. I highly recommend this.Of course Amain with there great service and super fast shipping is a plus. Good parts supply but not sure if they will ever be needed as this is so crash proof, havent crashed it but just watch some YouTube videos and you will see. Highly recommend to everyone!!! 5 Stars but I would give it 10!!!
Absolutely awesome!! If you are looking for a drone to learn to fly or one to mess around with you can not beat this one! The Alias is extremely durable and forgiving after crashes and is super easy to work on if parts need to be replaced. This is the most fun RTR RTF you can buy for $99. Put it in fast mode and ride out! Easy to fly and everything you need to fly included in the box. I've had 0 issues with my alias even after crashes and encounters with trees.
Ideal for flying indoor and backyard. Is an excellent basic heli trainer. Not powerfull in comparison to 4S racing drones but large slow revving props give a great grip in the air for precision. LEDs and tuning possibilities are fun . For example in Easy Mode set Rudder rate at 70% to obtain a heli-like behavior. I bought two of them.
I have never flown a drone before and I gotta say for 10 year old tech, it's pretty good and fun little machine. Most parts are handy to order or a traxxas dealer carries them. Not to mention shipping 2as insanely fast 2 days before eta. Happy form the start
Was super excited to fly it for the first time, particularly becuase this is my hobby-ish grade drone, but it came with a bad motor. Thankfully AMAIN was quick to get me a new motor under warrenty. These things are a blast to fly and look awesome at night!
