This is an optional LaTrax Carbon Fiber Conversion Kit, intended for use with the LaTrax 1/18 Rally Car. This kit includes the carbon fiber chassis, upper chassis, battery hold down, adhesive foam tape and hardware.
Carbon fiber provides many benefits over composite material in r/c applications. Typically the material is used to provide a stiff and rigid platform, but is also used to reduce weight and enhance looks. Carbon fiber also excels in hot weather conditions as it maintains it's stiffness. Likewise, composite material typically experiences an increase in flexibility in hot weather conditions which results in a decrease in suspension performance.

Overall a good kit, coupled with the traxxas oiled filled shocks makes the car really handle well. The Phillips-head screws are kind of subpar, which is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
A MUST upgrade for the Latrax Rally. Not only does it look super trick but it tightens up the chassis and when combined with oil filled shocks, makes this little rocket handle infinitely better.
