Great little RC for the starting point of $129! Ignore posts about this truck being easily breakable. I've been running a few on outdoor mini dirt track and nothing has broken in months! Any tiny RC will break if it's "Bashed". Comes with the basics to start off. But, even with a low entry cost, they still come with bearings and oil filled shocks! The steering is the low performing part. Nonadjustable links and a slow micro plastic geared steering servo. The 370 brushed motor has plenty of torque and speed, but also gets hot fast. This can lead to failure by "cooking the motor". I've found a $3 370 motor heatsink prevents this thus far. There is lots of available "Upgrade" parts for the pre-runner. But out of the box even makes for close racing fun among friends.
The car is great but it breaks SO easily. The pins holding the front suspension arms fall out with just basic driving. I probably have to find it on the street and unscrew and put it back in every 5 minutes of use. The shocks are very, very thin plastic and broke on day 1. I'm not even sure if it's worth buying the upgraded shocks when they are back in stock or just calling this car a loss and starting over with something else. (And I bought 2 so I could race with my son!)
