Okay, I have to start by saying that I now own all 3 of the traxxas, Le traxs models. The Teton was my last to purchase. out of the box It is an amazing looking vehicle. The tires, the wheels, the ride Height and clearance, to the bodystyle and paint all just Perfect. However, after charging the battery to a full charge, connecting it all and attempting to center or 0 out everything and set up the throttle controls. The model will not center for steering. It is constant left or constant, right. I've taken it into a hobby shop. And they said, just buy a new servo. I'm not gonna spend $30 on a servo. For a vehicle that is 2 hours out of the box, it would be amazing if Amen hobbies would send me a replacement, steering servo and horn. So the I may run this oneone6th scale model with my children. Despite the things wrong with the model, I am still going to give a five star rating because amen hobbies has always done me right and traxis is the best of the best
Got here quickly. Great little 1/18. Lots of hop-ups available.
This little RC is a rocket ship. Since my purchase 2435 5300 to be brushed her sister I’mjjj
We bought this RC car for our son last month for his birthday and we have had so many problems with it. The front bumper has broken twice (the second one broke within 15 mins of fixing it from barely bumping a curb), a tiny piece of the suspension pin kit fell out while someone in the store was fixing it and it had to be replaced, and now the connector to the electronic speed control broke (which is a $60 dollar fix). Most of the repairs have been minor, $5-$6 dollars but this last one is ridiculously expensive considering the cost of the car. What’s more is that the car has been broken more time than it has been used. My son is incredibly disappointed since this was a birthday gift. My family has had RC cars in the past, and they have never had this many problems, even with racing them hard. I won’t be buying from this company again.
i havent bought this yet but i am modifing four engiouns to this with a ninty dollor battry if you help me put this toghether we can make a profit with better cars
Reviewers generally praise the Traxxas LaTrax Teton's looks, speed and fun for kids, and note it is easy to upgrade. Several report durability problems: axles and front bumpers breaking, shock caps failing, and motors burning out within months, with one reviewer citing a costly electronic speed control connector repair. One review reports steering that would not centre out of the box, which a hobby shop advised fixing by replacing the servo. The supplied battery is described as short-lived, with some owners planning a LiPo upgrade. Two reviews are brief or off-topic and carry little weight. Overall, opinion is positive on performance and appeal but split on build durability.
