About the Motor Mounts

Aluminum Performance

An aluminum motor mount is a key upgrade for RC vehicles, providing enhanced strength, stability, and heat dissipation compared to stock plastic mounts. Machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, these mounts offer superior rigidity, preventing flex and ensuring the motor stays securely in place, even under extreme acceleration and rough terrain. This added stability helps maintain precise gear mesh, reducing wear on gears and improving drivetrain efficiency. Additionally, aluminum’s heat-dissipating properties help regulate motor temperature, preventing overheating during intense runs. Many aluminum mounts also feature an anodized finish, which not only adds a sleek look but also increases resistance to corrosion and wear. Upgrading to an aluminum motor mount enhances overall durability, performance, and longevity, making it a valuable addition for serious RC enthusiasts.
