It's good that this part is only $12. As a regular Maxx user/basher, you will replace several of these over time. It's one of the few parts of the Maxx that breaks. But be confident that it requires considerable impacts to break that most other trucks probably would not survive either. Usually, it's the lower half that breaks or the front skid plate screws get ripped out, ruining the holes that they thread into. I wish Traxxas sold just the lower half of the bulkhead for a lower price. The upper half rarely breaks.

Really need to be made out of some softer plastic, broke 5 of these guys now. Hope RPM can come out with something for this.
