Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck (Red) w/TQi 2.4GHz Radio & TSM
About this part
The Traxxas Maxx 1/10 Brushless RTR 4WD Monster Truck with WideMaxx Kit is the next level in ultimate basher chassis. This special chassis comes equipped with the WideMaxx suspension kit from the factory for greater stability.
Traxxas has totally revamped the Maxx chassis for this release. Starting on the four corners, Traxxas equipped this truck with the Sledgehammer tires. These tires feature an open-block design that clears away mud allowing for unreal traction. Moving to the suspension, Traxxas then equipped the truck with the WideMaxx suspension set. This extends the width over 1.5 inches improving stability. To further add to the stability, a longer chassis is used allowing the use of larger and more powerful batteries. All of these features come together to make the Traxxas Maxx an extremely durable and stable chassis. With six colors to choose from, the Traxxas Maxx with WideMaxx will be able to exceed expectations.

Awesome truck, I recommend getting the 4s battery for this truck makes it really fast! And very fast shipping.
Been out of the RC hobby for a couple of years and got back into it just recently, decided to get the Traxxas Maxx and am very happy with the purchase. On top of that, Amain hobbies was fast to deliver. Great job guys
This truck is something else! It wheelies like crazy! It responds super quickly. It handles really well considering it does not have sway bars, and even after two years of ownership it is still going strong with minimal breakage. This year I even upgraded it to 6s and it takes all that power like a beast after upgrading the center diff and driveshafts. The plastic chassis is very durable and keeps things light for more wheelies and durability! The stock tires are a little small, and I’d recommend some slightly taller ones.
This thing is a beast. Takes a beating and just keeps going. Don’t wait just get one you won’t regret it.
Great out the box but on a second run I already snapped two axles.
Reviewers broadly praise the Traxxas Maxx WideMaxx for speed, wheelie ability, and durability, with many noting it takes hard bashing well. Several highlight fast delivery and good service from the seller. Recurring criticisms include stock tires that are small or prone to failure (one reviewer had both rear tires come apart after about eight runs), stock servo quality, and under-sprung, under-damped suspension. Two reviewers reported broken axles early on. One reviewer reported an ESC failure after two months and criticised the cost of replacement. Some reviewers mention the proprietary battery connector and the controller feeling toy-like. Several reviews are from owners running 3S or 4S, with one upgrading to 6S. Overall sentiment is strongly positive, with the caveats mostly relating to stock components rather than the chassis.
