Traxxas Nitro Slash 3.3 1/10 2WD RTR SC Truck (Blue) w/TQ 2.4GHz Radio, TSM, Battery & DC Charger
About this part
Hard-Charging 50+mph
Pro 2WD Short Course Performance!
This is the Traxxas Nitro Slash 3.3 1/10 2WD RTR Short Course Truck with an included TQ 2.4GHz Radio System, TSM (Traxxas Stability Management), EZ-Start Engine Starter, EZ-Start Battery, DC Battery Charger and blue body.
CHARGER NOTE: The included charger requires a cigarette lighter socket found in full size vehicles to charge. If this is not your preference, Traxxas offers an adapter allowing you to charge from a standard home AC electrical socket (TRA2976).
">As only Traxxas can, heavyweight horsepower is combined with a lightweight 2WD chassis to deliver astounding performance and over-the-top fun. The award-winning TRX 3.3 engine gives the Nitro Slash tire-melting thrust that is far more than any driver needs--and exactly what every driver wants. It takes Traxxas-Tough durability and a stout drivetrain to handle the TRX 3.3’s outrageous output. Nitro Slash delivers with proven components that have made the Slash the standard for durability, and fun. The extra large capacity of the 150cc fuel tank keeps the action running longer between fill ups and the exclusive EZ-Start electric starting system makes starting as easy as pressing a button.
Traxxas Stability Management
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into your E-Revo making it much easier to control on common slippery surfaces. Punch it off the line and TSM goes to work sensing the vehicle’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full-throttle acceleration without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to maintain your line, and then allowing you to hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. Braking is dramatically improved as TSM works to keep you arrow straight until you come to a complete stop.

I have own 2 of these very fun filled truck easy to maintain fast and will pull wheelies .Thinking of buy a 3rd on track recommend a better traction tires
It's one of the better Traxxas Nitros. The lack of transmission makes this model a lot easier to tune and work on. I was able to get about 3 and a half gallons of fuel through this before having to replace the engine bearings...But at that point the bearings had actually exploded and caused mild scoring to the engine head. However, that's not why I'm only giving this three stars. I am docking the Slash because of Traxxas's clear lack of commitment to this model in the current year. It is nearly impossible to find a new body and Traxxas doesn't even sell a transparent one. Many hop-up parts are on backorder and may never be in stock again. If Traxxas is going to keep selling a model, they need to actually keep supporting it.
Here's my experience with the Slash nitro I recently purchased. Clutch spring broke on third tank of break-in. However traxxas sent me a new clutch,so customer Service is great. First tank after break-in,steering knuckle pin fell out. I did change the castor blocks out with pro line aluminum blocks. The pin screws are threaded coarse for plastic not fine for metal. Went back over model for the second time with thread locker. It is fast due to its light weight, however it does have a tendency to flip when air gets underneath of it. All in all it's still a blast to drive.
Another great rc from amain hobbies. Great customer service. If you're looking for a great rc and greater service look into amain hobbies. Thanks Crazycajunrc(youtube)
this car is awesome lots of power well worth the money
Reviewers generally find the Traxxas Nitro Slash 3.3 (Blue) fast, fun to drive and easy to work on, with several praising its power and handling on dirt and at tracks. Common complaints centre on early reliability during break-in: reports of broken clutch springs, loose steering knuckle and arm screw pins, a failed throttle/brake servo, a stripped or warped spur gear, and a body and sticker misalignment for the EZ-Start battery. Some note the brakes are weaker than a Revo 3.3 and the truck can flip when air gets underneath it. One reviewer criticises limited availability of parts and bodies. Several reviewers mention positive experiences with dealer service and Traxxas customer support, though one found the RMA process slow. Reviews are mixed on overall durability but most are positive.
