This is a Traxxas ProGraphix Body, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Stampede 4x4. With the ProGraphix process, you will never see bleeding paint or over-sprays that need to be covered up with a page full of decals. The unique ProGraphix painting process creates crisp, clean lines, smooth fades, and amazing professional graphics. Ready-To-Race® never looked so good.
Stand out from the rest of the pack with ProGraphix Custom. Don’t want red, blue, purple, or silver? What about florescent yellow, jet black, or even hot pink? The final color choice is yours with ProGraphix Custom bodies.
ProGraphix Custom bodies are painted with the same hot, clean graphics as the standard ProGraphix bodies, however the overall color is left clear, leaving the final coat and color choice to you! The body is pre-trimmed, supplied the black window decals, and left the peel coat on the outside of the body. No need to worry about masking, over-spray or paint bleeds. Just grab a ProGraphix Custom body and a can of paint, spray your favorite paint color, pull off the peel coat and you’re ready to roll!

My daughter wanted her first painted RC body to be a bit easier to paint so she choose this one. She was SOOO disappointed when the big reveal came after doing multiple coats of her favorite Tamiya glittery blue. There is so very little visible clear lexan that can be painted, her car came out basically looking black! We were both expecting way more space for the user to spray their own color choice. I've attached a photo of another style body that basically looks like how we pictured it, the black is all factory painted, and the blue is what user gets to choose and paint. I will upload pics of ours later tonight for reference. Do not get this body unless you want a very dark looking body.
