About this part

The Revo 3.3 Stands Alone as the Ultimate Nitro Monster Truck

Monster innovation, monster versatility, and supreme size come together in the one truck that could only come from Traxxas. The Revo 3.3 defines what it means to be the pinnacle of monster truck performance, the standard bearer for cutting edge innovation and boundless capability that all others are measured against. The Revo 3.3 is pure monster to its core with its massive presence, meaner gaze, and feature-rich capability. More importantly, Revo's advanced engineering equips it for fun, and the Revo 3.3 delivers even more of it!

CHARGER NOTE: The included charger requires a cigarette lighter socket found in full size vehicles to charge. If this is not your preference, Traxxas offers an adapter allowing you to charge from a standard home AC electrical socket (TRA2976).

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM)
TSM allows you to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into your E-Revo making it much easier to control on common slippery surfaces such as dusty asphalt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow.

Factory-Installed Telemetry Sensors
Traxxas Link collects and records real-time telemetry data as you drive. When you equip your model with optional telemetry sensors, the Traxxas Link dashboard comes to life showing you speed, battery voltage, RPM, and temperature.

Unboxed this product and I was very pleased with the quality traxxas put into this. I know a lot of people are upset with traxxas with how they're limiting coupon codes and other things but its a business and that's the way it is, for an rtr truck this has been the best so far. in my opinion you cannot go wrong with the revo 3.3.

This is my 2nd nitro Revo 3.3 Traxxas my first one was red, I followed all the directions to break it in and it cranked up just fine, but the spur gear broke, and striped, I recommend you purchase the Robinson Racing steel spur gear part # 7738 the car ran so good I will get a different kind of nitro vehicle. I sure am glad there wasn't a problem with the new one and I hope I am lucky enough to get a good one the second time. I have not had any issues with the electronics you may want to put in 2 stronger steering servos to make the Revo 3.3 steering stronger so happy with my purchase, I went and purchased another pair of nitro 3.3 Revo trucks. now have 5 Revo's. I still have one in the box for a spare.

Very bad electronic parts, very poor quality servos. In 1 day it broke down. The car electronics are failing.

I really debated on adding a nitro truck to my collection but so far I’m glad I did. There is nothing like the sound and smell of running a nitro RC. The REVO is reasonably fast for its size but definitely not as fast as 6 or 8S LiPo stuff. It’s not a convenient daily use RC because of the added maintenance but it sure is fun when you do get it out!

What reviewers say

Reviewers of the green Traxxas Revo 3.3 TQi RTR nitro monster truck mostly praise its fun factor, speed, jumping ability, and nitro sound, and several find it easy to start and break in. Opinions split sharply on reliability. Multiple reviewers report early failures: a defective or stuck OptiDrive throttle, bad engine bearings, shattered transmission shafts, a broken spur gear, and weak electronics or servos. Some owners recommend a forward-only conversion and steel spur gear upgrade. Several note that warranty support was unhelpful for one buyer. Overall, reports range from very positive to failing within days, and the sample is small.

  • + Fun to drive, fast, and jumps well
  • + Nitro sound and power
  • + Easy startup and break-in for many owners
  • + Good build quality for an RTR
  • − Early failures of OptiDrive, bearings, and transmission shafts
  • − Electronics and steering servos reported weak
  • − Spur gear breakage reported; steel upgrade suggested
  • − Warranty support criticised by one owner
