Still crap, go with tekno m6 axles. Don’t use rpm a arms because they flex to much and cause the axles to snap. Stock arms on the slash 4x4 or rustler 4x4 are fine to use with tekno axles.
With a light coat of wd40 I’ve yet to break these on 4s in my slash 4x4
Decent product. I have only just broken one on my Rally behind a 1/8th Sidewinder on 4C and 5C. Doesnt bind like other metal axles, and at $12 I can replace them easy.
This telescope drive shafts are really something, I have one cut to use drag slash they can with stang 4s even when you lunch hard from zero. For me is like metal converted in plastic. I have the old one for the drag slash and space is still in great condition. This will going to get serious abuse
These are crap i have a rustler 4x4 and I have had to replace them over 6 times now do not get get the upgraded ones
Reviewers are divided on this rear driveshaft assembly. Several report breakages, including one owner who needed a replacement on both sides and one who has replaced the part over six times on a Rustler 4X4; breaks are reported near the knuckle. Some attribute failures to hard landings or high-power use, and one suggests stock suspension arms that flex less may reduce breakage. Others report no breakages on 4S power, praise the low cost of replacement, and note the part does not bind like some metal axles. Reviews mention Rustler and Slash 4X4 use, with one Rally example. Overall, durability experiences vary considerably and the sample is small.
