About this part

This is an optional Traxxas Low CG Chassis Conversion Kit, and is intended for use with the Traxxas 4X4 1/10 scale short course truck. Lower CG, Higher Corner Speed, Lower Lap Times! Performance-proven with the Slash 4X4 Ultimate and 1/10 Rally models, Traxxas’ Low Center-of-Gravity chassis is now available as a complete conversion kit for the Slash 4X4. The Low-CG Conversion Kit lowers the chassis, battery*, and electronic components* to bring all the advantages of a low center of gravity to the award-winning 4WD short-course truck. No matter where you want to race, on the track or off, you will experience superior handling and better corner speed. The conversion kit includes all the parts and hardware required to convert one Slash 4X4 to the Low-CG configuration. (*not included in kit)

This is the best upgrade you can do to your Slash. Very well put together, and you get a lot for the money. Match it with the Proline Protrac kit for the ultimate handling Slash 4x4

The Low CG kit was exactly what my Slash needed. It provides a major boost to stablilty. It does lower it an inch, however it still has plenty of clearance.

These chassis are the worst design, the chassis is like a shovel trapping rocks and crap in the driveline and in the honeycomb sections!

What reviewers say

Reviewers of the Traxxas Slash 4X4 Low CG Chassis Conversion Kit are generally positive, with two of three ratings at 5/5 from verified owners. They praise its build quality, value for money, and the stability gain from a lower center of gravity, noting the chassis drops about an inch while still leaving adequate ground clearance. One reviewer rated it 1/5, describing the chassis shape as prone to trapping rocks and debris in the driveline and honeycomb sections. Only three reviews are available, so the sample is small. One reviewer also suggested pairing the kit with a Proline Protrac kit for handling, which is an opinion rather than a tested result.
