Amazing truck. I have many Slashes and decided to splurge and get an ultimate, and it did not disappoint!! The extras it comes with are well worth the price. Amain customer service is awesome!! Best I have ever dealt with!!
Stupid Fast Short Course Truck! Be ready to add some cooling fans for this motor and check all of your fittings before you take it out to run! Buy the alloy hubs for the wheels… it’s so fast you’ll melt the wheels! Great buy and plenty of ways to built out from there!
The Ultimate drives very well, and is a great value with all of its upgrades. Amain fulfilled the order quickly as always. However, after the first run my motor was loose, so I re-applied thread lock to the screws and tightened them again. The second time i ran it the same thing happened. I’ve sent the motor in to Traxxas (at my own expense) to have them look at it and hopefully replace it. My local hobby shop/track has said this is a common issue with the latest run of Ultimates. This is a lot of hassle and time spent where I can’t use my truck. I would hold off on buying one until they fix this issue with the motors. I regret this purchase, if I had known I’d be without my truck for weeks I would have bought a Senton.
New to the hobby. No clue what I’m doing. This thing is a blast. If you want to see your RC do 13 cartwheels and survive, this is the rig you need. Love it.
