Absolute junk design. Followed instructions to "snap" onto TQi remote. Mounted once. Unmounted once. On second mound the clip showed signs of weakening plastic (white line). Carefully moving into place... SNAP. Great idea. Not a solidly engineered concept. Simple changes in design would have prevented this. DO NOT BUY.

Fits nicely on my tmaxx 3.3 transmitter. No issues like the guy below me leaving a review. He said it snaps, you have to un loosen the clamp before putting it on and it won’t “snap”

Nicely made adapter, easy to install and remove in just seconds!. Very durable, I've dropped mine more than once with no damage. The adjustable gimbles allow the smartphone to be positioned to any viewing angle you like allowing hands free use! A perfect, Inexpensive way to mount your device !!!

What reviewers say

Reviewers disagree sharply on this transmitter phone mount. One verified owner reports the clip weakened after two mountings and snapped during a third, calling the design poorly engineered. Two others praise it as easy to install and remove, durable through drops, and adjustable for viewing angle. One positive reviewer notes that loosening the clamp before fitting avoids the snapping problem described by the critic, though this is a reviewer's suggestion rather than an official instruction. The reviews cover the TQi/Aton variant and one mentions fitting a Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 transmitter. Only three reviews are available, so the pattern of breakage is uncertain.

  • + Easy to install and remove
  • + Durable, survives drops
  • + Adjustable viewing angle for phone
  • + Inexpensive
  • − Clip can weaken and snap
  • − Design criticised as poorly engineered
