About this part

The Traxxas TRX-4 "Pro Scale" Winch Kit makes it easier to add features to your TRX-4 or TRX-6. The winch performs as good as it looks, and is a highly functional tool for scale adventure. An included fob-style remote allows you to extend and retract the high-strength winch line with the touch of a button. The rugged, heavy-duty hook is made of metal for reliable performance and lasting durability, and the high-torque motor gives the winch a 10-pound maximum capacity! That’s plenty of pull to get you out of trouble, conquer tough lines or get your buddy out of a jam.

Convenient 2-Channel Remote
The fob-style remote is easy to keep handy on a keychain or lanyard, and small enough to mount directly on the transmitter. Two channels are selectable, allowing front and rear winches to be installed and controlled independently. Switching channels only takes a moment—just press and hold the Channel Select button.

Free Spool
For quick line access, the Pro Scale Winch is equipped with a free spool release button. Holding the button allows the spool to freewheel so you can quickly extract as much line as you need by hand.

10 Pounds of Pulling Power
With a maximum weight capacity of ten pounds, the Pro Scale Winch has all the pulling power you need to get unstuck, out of trouble, over obstacles, and rescue other trucks on the trail. No matter how hard you work the winch, it won’t draw down receiver amperage—the winch gets its power directly from your TRX-4 or TRX-6’s battery, via the XL-5 HV’s accessory plug.

Automatic Brake
Whether you're using Line In to pull your truck up an incline or Line Out to control a descent, the Pro Scale Winch's automatic brake will prevent the line from unwinding when the winch is unpowered.

Winch Compatible Bumpers
Installation is simple. Winch-compatible bumpers are available for all TRX-4 and TRX-6 models. Simply install the winch on the bumper and install the assembly in place of your model’s stock bumper. Add the TRA8088 accessory LED light bar to the new winch-compatible bumpers (TRA8865, TRA8866, TRA8867, and TRA8869) for even more scale realism.

NOTE: Accessory bumper not required for 2021 Ford Bronco (model #92076-4)

Ivan Parhamon Traxxas TRX-4 "Pro Scale" Winch Kit w/Wireless Controller

I have this mounted to a stock SCX10 iii Gladiator bumper with no modification, simply extend the bumper out to the last mounting hole. My rig is 10+ lbs so I haven't tired a dead lift but the winch definite has a little muscle. You will need a balance port to JST connector if you're not running Traxxas electronics, Reefs makes one for their direct power servos, PowerShift as well. Cool winch! it’s very strong and it’s also waterproof. It can dead lift my 9lb TRX-4! The range could be better. I wish it had an option to use PWM as control if you have an aftermarket receiver.

Maybe 5lbs of power this winch is slow and dose not work great on rocks on my trx4 sport
