Overheats with traxxas crawl gears (low range) - to the point to trigger esc cutoff Only buy if you want more speed!
The motor works great and has a lot of power. Unfortunately, the pinion gear does not work with steel gears (they will grind it down) and Traxxas does not offer any replacement pinions for it, or any steel pinions for it.
Traxxas put out good stuff but this is no good get way way to hot
Very nice little setup that works great with stock transmitter and has many ports for lights. Extremely smooth, nice punch and better than stock speed. Battery lasts forever compared to stock. No heat issues on both my kid's high lift Broncos. Just pure enjoyment.
I wish I had just left it brushed it actually crawls much better this setup has horrible cogging when crawling slow I really wish I hadn’t wasted the money on the “upgrade” .
