Waste of money! The pistons are poorly made, they dont slide freely in the shock bores!
I have the Revo 2.0 I like how they behave. The shock don't go down they great absorb of the landing. In my case I have 6.4 sprint and 4.9 front. The piston can compress with low wt oil and I'm using 40 rear and 30 front. If use more heavy oil 50 or 70 you can feel the compress. I'm using the .95 of this set
Stuffed these into my Traxxas UDR, they work wonders when put on a significantly lower shock oil weight! Without lower oil weight the rebound and compression feel a little too sluggish, so if you put these in a UDR I’d recommend a change down to 15-20 wt shock oil. As for the E-Revo, I have no clue, I’ve never owned one.
RC Illuminati made a video for the traxxas UDR using this kit so I figured for under $10 bucks how could I go wrong? What a huge difference this makes!! Really happy with the damping effect at both ends of the car and it handles better than ever-
Installed on a new e revo 2.0 and they are fantastic. Make sure your follow the instructions or they will not work. For offroad bashing and big jumps these are a must! Just ordered another set for my revo 3.3
Reviewers largely praise the kit's damping and handling on Traxxas Revo 2.0, E-Revo and UDR platforms, with several noting a clear improvement for landings and bashing. Ratings are mostly 5/5. Recurring points are that results depend on shock oil weight, with lighter oil recommended in some setups, and that pistons may need sanding or careful fitting to slide freely in the shock bores. One reviewer reported drilling the piston holes and noted a rally-conversion setup, while another gave a one-star rating citing poorly fitting pistons. Reviewers stress following the installation instructions.
- + Clear improvement in damping and handling

- + Inexpensive upgrade
- − Pistons may bind and need sanding to fit
- − Results depend on shock oil weight
- − Requires careful installation to work properly
- − One reviewer reported poor piston quality
