Fits firmly and perfectly over my 540XL in my Traxxas Hoss. It also has rounded sides so it won't easily mark up the blue finish on the motor. Using the temp sensor, I've noticed quicker cool down than without the heatsink. An easy high recommendedation especially it's the 10 dollar price.
This heat sink will work on a drag slash, if you cut it in half and install it at the right angle. Add a fan and your motor and heat sink will run cooler. and the rear suspension will not hit the heat sink/fan.
Hey slash 4x4 guys and gals, this heat sink also works with the standard Velineon Brushless motor that comes in 85%of Traxxas smaller models the 3351r from the slash to slash ultimate from the rustlers etc this fits I swear.. AND we can use the Velineon fan for the Traxxas Maxx so there you go everyone my good dead for the day. Cheers and have fun with longer run times and cooler operation.
